In Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill (played by Chris Pratt) is a half-alien, half-human character. As a kid, Quill was raised by a group of alien rogues. After his mother dies, he quickly becomes lawless. And it isn’t long before he steals an orb. Soon, Quill attempts to sell the orb but, instead, it is stolen by Gamora. She, too, intends to sell the orb. But then both of them and two bounty hunters that become involved in the fight are captured by officers. While in prison, someone attempts to kill Gamora. A series of events keeps her alive but sets the group up for an escape. This unlikely tribe is full of counter-culture characters. As outlaws and destroyers, they’re more likely to get their hands dirty on a rampage than to save the planet.
